Working with families

Schools can have a routine for giving homework and ask parents to support their children,  and show this by signing in their children's notebooks. Schools also can encourage parents to come and observe lessons during the teaching process.

Having parents assist their children with school work is a commendable idea , I support. However, parents may chip in when it comes  regard to effective teaching by supplying some of the necessary resource materials which may be unavailable at school . The idea of parents observing on-going lessons Jean is however debatable.
