Creating Inclusive Ethos

Two factors that contribute to an inclusive ethos and culture are

  1. Staff attitude: When staff appreciate the benefits of inclusion they find ways even in challenging situations to create that environment. 
  2. Parents: Parents buying into the concept of inclusion is key. As they also see the benefits of inclusion, they "spread the word" to the community.
