Activity 1.2 What makes an inclusive school?

The most important factor in making an inclusive school is collaboration as Daniel mentioned in the blog, schools should educate all the stakeholders (i.e)  teachers, parents and students and the wider community to ensure all are included. In addition adaptive measures must be put in place to ensure the well-being and safety of the students (e.g) ramps, suitable washrooms to cater for their needs etc. Inclusion is about how the schools and the curriculum is structured for so that all the students learn, develop and participate together fostering a better relationship for all stakeholders involved. To create an inclusive school one must take into consideration the culture and diversity of the communities involved.
