The school where I work is guided by the following statement  “Home and School United for the Good of the Child." In this environment, collaboration between parents and staff is very important. There are opportunities for parents to come into the school and assist. For instance, there was one parent who’d come in and provide support for children with reading difficulties. Teacher training is also encouraged and provided so that we can meet the various needs of our learners. Also, we try to celebrate student achievement in our assemblies.
