Activity 2.2 Policies for an inclusive ethos

A school that I am familiar with, through the referral process, networks with the units within the Ministry of Education, for example, the Special Education Unit, DAIU, Social Work, Guidance. 

Also, they with network with external agencies, for example the Child Guidance Clinic and the Ministry of Health (health facilities). 

This encourages inclusivity because everyone is working collaboratively to ensure the necessary intervention provided so that the child can reach their full potential.  

It is also encouraging to the school staff to know that they are not alone, and that there are services and resources to provide additional support, knowledge and information.
