Monitoring Inclusive Schools

The educators at my school completed sensitivity training as it relates to inclusive education. A ramp access is available as well as student aides for students requiring additional support. There is also a full compliment of Student Support Services personnel available at the school; the School Social Worker, Guidance Officer and the Special Education Instructor. The hope is that more will be done to encourage working together to tailor interventions and encourage a culture of inclusivity.

This is all important. The next challenge is to get everyone actively on board in terms of how they react to each other as colleagues, and how they individually and collectively help the students.
