Activity 1.5

Pick out two factors that you  think are particularly effective in contributing  to an inclusive ethos and culture and describe them.

Two factors I chose are; Strong leadership from principals and school coordinators. As teachers we have a responsibility to educate all children,therefore we need to change our mindset, and face the challenge with a positive attitude. It starts with great leadership and staff,by our positive actions parents,community and stakeholders will come on board.

The second is a to adapt to a  curriculum ,teaching and assessment to meet the children needs. Information about the different disabilities helps the children to understand and accept their peers,which foster respect for all and acceptance.
