What makes an inclusive school?

There are a number of features that goes into making an inclusive school, they are as follows;

* Positive attitude of teachers. Teachers who are willing to work with and collaborate with colleagues to facilitate inclusion. Teachers who constantly seeks information to improve their learning for all children.

* An administration that is willing to do all in its power to promote, provide resources and train staff to facilitate inclusion.

*An physical environment that caters for all, adapted to meet the needs of each child, ensuring that they are able to obtain an education in a safe, positive, comfortable environment that is conducive to learning.

*A curriculum that meets the needs of every child, disabled or not.

* A resource room or resources that is available and accessible and appropriate to meet each child's need.

*Competent personnel's to aid with the various resources available.
