Activity 1.4 Developing positive attitudes

There was this child in my group with a speech impediment. His parents were very anxious because they thought the child may not fit in well into the school environment. My head teacher and I reassured the parents that being among children of his age will be very beneficial for him. He was able to interact with them positively and they were able to understand him. All of his other abilities and capabilities was just as good as the other children and he displayed qualities of self-confidence and a very high self-esteem.
