Features of an inclusive school

When I hear the word “inclusive,” all access came to mind. All children should be able to have access to learning regardless of what their ability is. Schools should be designed to cater to diverse needs of children with no divide. Key features that stood out for me while viewing the video was that of the school’s design, having ramps and rails for children with wheelchairs and for others who may need it to move freely. Another feature was that of administration and school staff. School staff should be trained and work together to meet the diverse needs of all children. For inclusion to work the expectations and the mindset of all staff must change.
