Two important features of an inclusive school are :

1. Staff attitude - all persons involved in a child's life in a school must have a positive attitude towards all children, despite their status or culture. Staff must be able to work together, enhance their knowledge and share with their colleagues to ensure each child is provided with optimum learning.

2. Resources - every school must be equipped with the resources they need to facilitate learning. These include the physical environment such as ramps, wheelchair, a warm and welcoming environment etc and materials which will aid in learning such as technology, manipulatives, etc.
