1.2 An Inclusive School

Two important features of an inclusive school are the physical environment and the teaching staff of the school.

The school is run by the Administrator who encourages inclusion because no one is turned away when applying to the school. All children are accommodated at the school regardless of their needs. He meets regularly with the teachers to discuss ways to adjust the curriculum to facilitate the learning for the children and the way forward so that all children entering the school are given the best education. The teaching staff are committed to work with the children in their care.

The school is built for inclusion with rails, ramps and spacious washrooms in order to accommodate wheel chairs.
