An inclusive teacher is aware of the different needs of pupils

I listened to the audio where the teacher was about to punish a student who was repeating what he was saying. He was not aware that the student have an hearing impairment. This catch my attention because, as the document states, teacher and administration should know the students which will prevent wrong labelling of students. This incident makes me reflects on the school that I came from. I now believe that students with unexpected behavior, deserve to be given a fair chance, before being disciplined. Some students have been expelled for bad behavior, based on what teacher have said. Did these children have a disability that they are not aware of, or that they did not know of?
