2.2 Policies for an inclusive ethos

How they will encourage positive behavior management

When teachers share information with children and help them to understand diversity most times children can build their own views and respect others.

 By grouping children together, having them do fun group activities or play games together can forge social interactions, build relationships and in turn support and encourage each other to learn.

Teachers can also model positive behaviors that they would like to see in the classroom. If children observe their teacher being kind, patient and welcoming to their peers with diverse needs, they will respond in a similar manner.
