Activity 1.2- What makes an inclusive school?

Two important features of school are:

1. The physical environment must be adapted to facilitate the needs of these learners. For example :include ramps, rails and adapted toilets. Also, the teaching staff must work as a TEAM so no child will be left behind.

2. Resource room to assist with early intervention and build self- esteem in learners who are encountering challenges in education.

I am in total agreement with you Akeesha, these two factors are very important. Some schools have the resource room but they are not really using it to their full potential.

Well said, working as a team is of great importance, to ensure no child is left behind.
