Positive Behaviour Management Strategy

Once there is a child who is disruptive I try to discover what he/she likes to do most. I asked a child who was not sitting for the activity and being constantly disruptive, to tell me what he was interested in and he said looking at something on my computer. I offered him a deal, stating that if he sits in class with his peers for most or all of the activity, I will allow him to play an educational game or view an educational video or story appropriate for him. He became very excited about the idea and it helped to promote his good behaviour and positive personality which was a benefit to all around him.

Reward systems can be effective in helping with behaviour management. This can work for children of any age, and even children with challenging behaviors can understand the idea behind it, and the reward can be suited towards the child's likes and dislikes as you identified.
