Professional Development

I attended a one day professional development workshop training on how children learn through Science. This was an insightful experience because I learned several techniques. Science activities provide children with opportunities to develop and practice many different skills and attributes. These include communication skills, collaborative skills, team working and perseverance, as well as analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills. This professional workshop gave me the opportunity to learn and apply strategies to support teaching children with or without special needs.

Hi Glenniann, professional development training is necessary in all schools to facilitate ongoing training workshops to develop new skills and be abreast with new methods to help the learners. All those skills would be developed and being a teacher in fostering good communication skills to the learners.
