Improved identification is needed with regards to the children disabilities at schools. For this to happen, staff at schools must be trained and provided with resources to carry this out. This may or may not cause an increase in the amount of identified disabilities in schools. It all depends on the staff effort.
Additional support for the teaching staff such as a specialist as this would improve the quality of education for the children with disabilities. An example, of this in Trinidad and Tobago is the Ministry of Education Student Support Services that provides many services to cater to students needs.
