How the school will work with parents and caregivers

At a Centre I know the teachers alongside the parents/caregivers have one on one meetings and together they come up with simple strategies to support the child at home as well as in the school environment thus cementing a home school link.

Great point Eudeane. Creating that home school link is very important, the child can see the same strategies used at school are reflective in the home. Added to that, the child will see that the teacher and his or her parents are working together.

I totally agree with this point. Home school partnership is very important in order for learning to be extended in the home. It also reflects what is being done at school in the home.

I agree, it is of paramount importance that the home school link be developed so that children feel that sense of comfort that what is being implemented at school is also being carried out at home as well. This will aid the child to develop the necessary skills needed at a much desired pace.
