A professional development workshop that stuck out to me was "21st Century Teaching and Learning." It focused on the need for change (internally and externally), how making or transitioning from the old to the new would be done and what that transformation would look like. And at the end of it all the simple question to myself was this, "Am I satisfied with the knowledge and instruction that I am offering my students?" While I could say yes to some extent, I knew that I could and should adapt and adopt new and more effective approaches to reach the 21st century student.
