Activity 1:6 Professional development

Some of the professional development work shops I have engaged in are as follows:

·         Setting the stage for learning Physical education children need to play. It is a child's world  where some of the materials produce were from recyclable material and children were excited to play with them and were able to reproduce some for their own use.

Professional Development in the 21st Century as it focus on high quality practices to improve and increase teachers' knowledge, reflect on practice to meet the needs of children with disabilities and special needs in the planned environment.

Financial Literacy children are able to grasp that everything in a store , market, shops cost money. Additionally to buy gifts for special occasions also includes exchange of cash. Hence making of a gift using paper or recyclable material can cut cost and make family members proud and excited as they labour and make tokens for these special occasion.

These workshops are helpful as they are geared to sustain, improve classroom management skills, learn new techniques and strategies  to effectively meet the needs of diverse learners in the classroom with hands on materials and instructions.
