Positive behavior strategies.

In a classroom which I am familiar, each day before the first session begins, the children will review the class rules, that they co created with the teacher. This worked well as the teacher would praise the children when the rules are followed. Their picture would then be placed on 'our heroes of the day chart'. This usually encourages the children to follow through with the rules each day. Whenever the rules are not followed, the children remind each other about what behavior is expected of them in class.
