Activity 1.2

Two important features of an inclusive school are firstly is the attitude of the teachers.  Once the teachers display that positive attitude towards children who may have special needs this in turn creates a positive ethos at the school.

 Understanding the learners with special needs and catering to the learning needs of each child is another feature of an inclusive school. When teachers plan lessons and activities they must remember to cater for all types of learners ensuring that no child is left behind.
