4.10 Bringing all together

I have learnt how important a positive ethos is, to promote inclusive education. I plan to encourage my staff and everybody to educate themselves on ' inclusion ' . I am looking forward to develop a 'BUDDY System' in my classroom and monitor all my learners. I have learnt the importance of all stakeholders involved.

This course has surly added my knowledge and I am more than eager to help in  the development of my school to be Inclusive .

From the course, first  I have learnt the importance of building a foundation for an inclusive school, with practical strategies to establish an inclusive ethos and culture. Secondly, I learnt that the inclusive school is characterised  by a presence of a supportive management, convinced and committed teachers and working collaboratively with the school's stakeholders to ensure there is effective learning for all learners, including those with disabilities.

The course is an eye opener to me, I now have a more informed view of how children with disabilities can be made to feel included in school with the active participation of all the stakeholders.
