The Inclusive teacher's attitude and behavior.

Teachers are one of the first role models that children identify with. As such it is very essential that teachers engage in self reflection and remain mindful of this. Having a positive attitude towards inclusion is a great start to fostering a positive learning  environment. Meeting the needs of the children and valuing their contributions is at the core of the classroom experience.

Yes teacher are the role models that children identify with. However not all teachers are train and equipped to deal with the inclusive classroom. Some teacher are not trained to handle the task and training is an integral aspect of an inclusion classroom. So teachers needs to display appropriate behaviour in order to meet the needs of the child.
