2.5 School Policies To Support Inclusive Education

I love this idea. Children with disabilities should have after school activities offered to them. This can be done by:

1. Gathering information about student's hobbies upon entry into the school.

2. Have teachers monitor and record student's strengths in mental and physical activities in case no hobbies were identified.

3. Include student/parent participation in the after school activity, so that when the child is on school breaks, the parent can bond and continue with the child in the exercise.

These intentional plans boosts the child's confidence, allows the child to know that he/she has parental support and fosters greater participation in other classroom activities.
