all children with disabilities have someone to play with at break time

Yes, all children with disabilities should have a friend to play with at break time, for social interaction, to model positive behaviour and the child will be able to scaffold learning from his or her peer.

Yes, they will feel included too. That is a very good thing.

Good point. Even if the child wants to be quiet and watch it feels good just to have someone by his/her side.

I agree, having that support system even in the break time is so important. It is an eye opener to use strategies that not only serve the purpose of the child with a disability but also educates the other children that its okay to have differences, however, we all are here for the same reasons..... and that is the right to an education

Indeed, this is  really a  great strategy to pair  children with disabilities with some one to play. This initiative  can eliminate the emotional stress of trying to make a friend, create the willingness to learn, encourage social development and build one's confidence. The child will also experience a sense of belonging .
