School-based Teacher Development would undoubtedly promote teacher learning and growth, but one challenge that SBTD may present in my context is effectively incorporating the activities during the school day. While all staff members would be eager to participate, time would undoubtedly be an issue; however, because continuous professional development is important, staff would collaborate to find a suitable solution for all parties involved because the opportunities far outweigh the challenges. One such opportunity would be to utilize the knowledge and information gained through school-based teacher development to promote a positive learning environment for all.
