I worked with a child who became very disruptive when he did not get his own way. He would throw tantrums for the slightest thing as not getting a colour crayon he wanted. So in order to get his to control himself I had him sitting next to me he would help me share materials to the other children. I also used time out and when he calmed down we talked about why he behaved in that manner. He was also rewarded with stickers of his choice. His behavior started to improve after a while and the parents were informed of my strategies which they reinforcement at home.
