Positive Attitudes

Positive attitudes if demonstrated, can definitely make the difference in obtaining help for those  students with special needs. Case in point, because of the lack of momentum that takes place within our education system for students who are formally referred for special education services, many teachers fail to initiate the process of referring a student with suspected disability or need due to a lack of faith in the system, thereby eliminating any chance for the student to obtain the help needed by specialist persons in the field.
