Activity 4:4 Ebhot Primary School: school-based partnership

I would  persuade a school management committee to make better links outside the school to which connects the home, school and community.  A walkathon was held and  students, parents and  teachers met  with people of the community along the way and had the opportunity to relate the purpose for having the event. The community knew what areas the the school  needed assistant and contributed by providing a technician to fix the computers at the school. This enable health official to  have a health fair at a the school inviting the community to attend and use the services provided for  parents and children. This help support learning, children attended school frequently and academic achievements were  high. When this is achieved they are many benefit for all stakeholders to grow, contribute and create positive  partnerships to develop an inclusive school.

A challenge that would be involved is that  some teacher time may be affected . They may have to spent longer hours at the school to facilitate planning.
