A learning organization is one in which everyone has the opportunity to learn and in which learning for all is part of the ethos of the school..

Professional development helps teachers to become more effective when faced with challenges. I have worked  with colleagues to develop resources and these professional development workshops helps and gives us new insights and ideas in which we can use in our classrooms.

I will support teachers by showing them different ways in which we can work to creating new resources and having mini workshops to help the others.

Teachers can use active approaches such as group work, drama/role play, storytelling and even the use of games. I have used alot of these during my practicum and it worked really well. Students were intrigued by these new approaches. The use of different materials/ resources are very helpful for building the students confidence and self esteem. 

I also think that having more meetings maybe fourth nightly or even monthly with teachers and parents can be beneficial to all schools especially here in the Caribbean.
