Activity 1.6 Professional development

It is never to early or to late in our career to consider professional development. Investing in yourself as an educator is the best way to ensure growth for yourself as well as your students. Personally, this is the first time engaging in a course focusing on 'inclusive education'. I have completed courses in many areas which made me a better teacher to date. I have seen the changes made within myself but there are many more things I need to learn. I think it is important for all teachers to engage in professional development as it expands your knowledge base and expose you to new ideas, also it boost your confidence and you also get the opportunity to meet new teachers who can share a wealth of knowledge from their years of experience. Showing that you, the teacher are constantly learning a wealth of knowledge will be achieved.
