2.2. Professional development

I have done a number of professional development, courses that focuses on standardization, and the use of technology in the classroom. By far this workshop is the most useful when it comes to inclusion. I value this course because student diversity is real. In modernizing school culture this is one of the most valuable discussion. I will therefore use this workshop as a foundation in my career .

Professional Development

Professional development is a continuous process. Professional development workshops provide teachers with new ideas and strategies that should be implemented in the classroom thereby enhancing teaching and learning achievements.

Having attended a number of these workshops the benefits are indeed numerous. Group work is an essential element of any workshop, this allows the exchange of ideas, knowledge and experiences which can be executed in the classroom. One such workshop  I attended was making classroom resources using recyclable materials. Those ideas were indeed helpful.
