The practical benefits of  itinerant teachers partnership with schools include:

- additional human resource

- additional teacher collaboration

- knowledge sharing

- in-house  teacher training and support for    designing differentiated learning, curriculum        adaptation, making materials and modelling of    professional behaviours   

Challenges

- multiple and varied scope of work

- Itinerant teacher-burnout

- job turnover

A similar example of this is the student support services in which one specialist educator may be assigned to a cluster of primary school Centres in an education district.
