Professional Development

I have been an Educator for the past twenty four years and I strongly believe that effective professional development are important in order for growth and development (both student and teacher).

I have had the privilege of attending numerous professional development workshops over my tenure. These workshops have further broadened my knowledge as an Educator. and assisted greatly in the classroom.

Recently, we had a number of workshops targeted at online  teaching and the various programmes  that are available for teachers to incorporate in their implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum.

Thought I to was afforded the same opportunity to participate in the  above mentioned professional development workshop, and found it beneficial towards bridging the gap between the face to face and virtual platform. I cant help but feel this particular work shop could have been way more effective , if offered at the off set of our virtual experience.
