How can you make learning more active?

Reading the topics, I was most interested in becoming a good inclusive teacher. One requirement is making your lesson more active, by having the students involve more. This can be done by avoiding common practices like dictating. In math, the challenge i see is that I have to introduce students to topics, and explain by demonstrating the concepts. by doing this, it reduces the time to introduce group work so that students, can share. therefore, i took up most of the time.

Secondly, when preparing students to sit standardize exams, the pressure that arise to complete a syllabus, sometimes limit group activities.

One way to overcome these challenges is to carefully plan your lessons with efficient activities. Time management will be a crucial factor.
