A school I taught at, uses an open door policy with regards to inclusion. Parents of special needs students are welcomed to come in and have discussions with staff about the needs of their child. However mere discussion alone isn't enough. depending on the nature of the special need that the child possess, the school often times is not prepared with the adequate resources required and thus may still refuse entry to some students with special needs.
