Given the vast use of social media forums, technology has made it somewhat easier to communicate with most parents. I do understand it still may not be for everyone, however it helps quite a deal when trying to interact with parents about child's progress and useful information.

In my classroom, one method i have started using is a parent group chat on WhatsApp. I am able to send reminders and use it as a forum for parents to voice their concerns and even check out class activities. Because of some parents work schedule, they seem to be responsive on the chat.
