As we live in an ever-changing world we need to keep abreast of the changes to facilitate them in our classroom .Since teachers are lifelong learners we need to always engage in professional development which will enhance our knowledge and understanding about specific topics .Through professional development teachers learn about different strategies and how they can make more meaningful contributions to their classroom environment. As I engaged in a professional development session I was able to gain significant knowledge that I immediately implemented in the classroom to assist children who were actively engaged and showed great interest.
