Activity 1.2 What makes an Inclusive School

I was in total agreement with Daniel and Lydia points. These key features can be implemented and used within the classroom setting, which will allow inclusion.

By listening to Daniel's video,  I think that the understanding is primarily the perception of teachers regarding children with disabilities and the inclusion of the classroom environment.  This can only happen if teachers are compassionate, supportive and accept disabilities and disabled children and are willing to play a part in creating an inclusive classroom.

Inclusive schooling is the goal and to achieve this you need resources as this will play a vital role in streamlining an efficient inclusive environment throughout schools nationwide and also with the provision of resources, it will help to boost self-esteem, community and a sense of belonging.
