Activity 3.3 Professional Development Opportunities

Teacher professional development is crucial in promoting high quality early childhood education. The more professional development opportunities a teacher undergoes the more they develop knowledge on planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities. Although we are currently gaining knowledge on inclusiveness further professional development workshops on this topic will be a valuable asset.

Notable point made Temica, more professional development workshops on inclusion would be highly helpful and would only serve to reinforce and expand on what has already been learnt.

I am in agreement that professional development is important to maintain high quality childhood education. This helps a teacher to become more knowledgeable  hence implement and develop new strategies in planning appropriate activities to meet the needs of each child on a daily basis. It also helps to build and support objectives.
