Activity 3.5 Example for Practice

Learning studies aims to improve the effectiveness of student learning by enhancing the professional competence of teachers. Some things that need to be put in place to enable teachers to take part in a learning study are:

* Time off for Study (not on teaching time) 

* Accessibility (Online)

* Short Sessions 

* Incentives e.g. extra salary 

Although these examples were stated above, a quality teacher who sees professional develop as self-enhancing will not need such incentives.
