• My most recent opportunity for professional development was participating in a series of webinars. The topic that was most memorable and effective was entitled “Navigating Online Platforms”. In the past year, like many teacher I resorted to online teaching. While I am proficient in maneuvering my way around the web and have knowledge of different teaching platforms, online teaching had its challenges in the first instance. This professional development experience helped to improve my practice by providing information of various online tools and resources that I can utilize to plan and deliver lessons that are visually stimulating, and captures the attention of children between the ages of 3 and 5.
