One inclusive feature I have noticed at a school am familiar with is the manner in which they welcome the children. The teachers give each child an individual greeting and they even had a chart where the child could decide how he/ she wanted to be greeted on any given morning. This had a great impact on the children and they became more confident and comfortable. The children also began to greet each other in the same manner. It truly made a difference.
