2.5 School policies to support inclusion

My favourite idea will be: All children with disabilities have social activities after school. These activities can include the following: board games, story-telling club, drama theatre, choir practice etc. these are important because it highlights their individual talents and abilities, and provision is available here to express themselves. These social interactions and participation promote their self confidence, and their self -esteem.

Hi I fully agree with your choice on after school Activities, I love when children can express them selves through Dance, Painting, Arts and craft etc. This really builds their self-esteem and confidence especially when you out their work on display  so everyone can see.

When all children are involved in activities those with disabilities are helped in their areas of challenge and they also contribute to the activities, others value their contribution and treat them as equals. In turn this raises their self esteem and are able to explore their own full potential.

I agree that children with disabilities should be involved in social activities not only because they have equal rights just like other children, but it is also necessary if we want to create an inclusive environment.
