Act. 4.5 Practical benefits to schools of outside organisations.

The inclusion of the itinerant teachers, seeks to bring many benefits to the students, teachers and communities alike.  The benefits to the teachers would include hands on professional development. This includes making resources as well as sharing ideas about inclusion in their particular setting. For the children, they benefit from individual education based on their strengths and weaknesses.

The training offered will help a school to think about and make changes that will lead the way for an inclusive school.

Challenges which maybe faced by the itinerant teacher includes a negative attitude to inclusion by teachers and administrators, lack of support from the homes and communities as well as lack of student motivation.
