A Professional Development experience that helped me to improve my practice

Very early in my career as a Teacher i attended a workshop  'Understanding How Children Learn'  this course focused on Learning styles as well as Learning Difficulties, we were given checklists that allowed us to ensure that as many learners as possible were accounted for when preparing our lesson, to date a revised version of this checklist is still used, it always reminds me to consider the needs of my learners, whereas before, my lessons were planned without these considerations.
