4.10 Bringing it all Together

Two things which I will carry forward with me as an educator are:

1. What makes a good teacher in inclusive education: because I must be all embracing, seeing all children regardless of their learning styles, as deserving of quality education at all times.

2. School based teacher development. Once the timetable can be reconfigured to allow development sessions, I will make accommodations to indulge in professional teacher training. The employer has a right to steer the direction of his/her institution. While I as a teacher am encouraged to be a life-long learner, when I engage in professional development, I need to be rewarded in terms of upgrades and being properly remunerated for motivation's sake in a timely manner.
