2.9 Teacher as a Role model

The term "teacher as a role model" is one that teachers should not take lightly. As a teacher I am aware of the influence I have on my students, parents and by extension my community. This is why I take my responsibility very seriously and also my willingness to adapt inclusivity both in and out of the school setting. My role extends beyond academics it also involves my ability to connect not just my students but all stakeholders. My willingness to promote inclusion based on needs have proven to create a positive atmosphere where all stakeholders are more responsive, thus creating a functioning inclusive school.
